Born in the Sheherjik village of Gafan region of the Republic of Armenia, January 3, 1955 Graduated from the Machinery Technology Department at the Azerbaijan State Oil and Chemistry Institute; foreign languages: Russian and English. From 1976 assistant to foreman and later foreman at the Baku Domestic Air-Conditioners Plant FSrom 1979 Senior Engineer at the Office of Major Installations and Special Construction Works in Azerbaijan From 1981 Senior Technologist, Head of department, and Head of Union at “Azersantekhgurashdirma” (Azerbaijantechinstallation) Trust of the Azerbaijani Ministry of Major Installations and Special Construction Works In the years of 1996-2005 - President of Absheron Regional Water Joint Stock Company Member of the Political Council of The New Azerbaijan Party Member of the International Water Association. Was elected to a second Milli Majlis term of the Republic of Azerbaijan. On November 6, 2005 re-elected as Member of Parliament from Absheron Constituency No 45. Head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the CIS Parliamentary Assembly. Married, has two children.
