Graduation ceremony of the 2010 Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship Programme
Baku, 25 October (AzerTac). Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Indonesia and concurrently to Philippines I.Hajiyev, participated in the graduation ceremony of the 2010 Indonesian Arts and Culture Scholarship Programme on October 22, 2010.
Students Gultakin Mamedzade and Ulviyye Khalilova of the Azerbaijani University of Languages visited Bandung and Solo within the framework of three month programme.
During their studies the students used to hold presentations to introduce Azerbaijan at provincial TV and radio. On July 29 Gultakin Mamedzade was interviewed at Metro TV with coverage in Indonesia and neighbouring countries.
The Directorate General of Information and Public Diplomacy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia expressed satisfaction and praise for Azerbaijani students for their knowledge, ability, making friends, winning the respect of other students.
Azerbaijani students participated in the concert programme at the graduation ceremony.
Former minister of foreign affairs, deputy foreign minister, governor of Surabaya city, members of the diplomatic corps and students were present at the ceremony.
